GETTING STARTED

Workplace’s learning hierarchy begins at the ground level with your content. You then upload that content into a course template and configure it in a manner you would like your employee to view it. That course can then be taken by itself or assigned to a Program, which is essentially a grouping of courses. This process allows multiple pathways to distribute your training content to your employees.

UPLOAD USERS

Uploading users can be completed one by one or in bulk, by using the Workplace bulk user upload function. Simply download the example CSV file, enter your employees info as shown in the file, and upload your employees.

CONTENT TYPES

ASSIGNMENT

Allows course creators to communicate tasks, collect work, and provide grades and feedback on files that employees submit.

FEEDBACK

Use Feedback to create a custom survey about a course for participants to take by using multiple choice, yes/no, and text input fields.

FORUM

Enables participants of a course to have discussions that take place over an extended period of time.

GLOSSARY

The Glossary enables participants to create and maintain a list of definitions or to collect and organize resources and information.

INTERACTIVE CONTENT

Enables the course creator to create interactive content such as Interactive Videos, Question Sets, Drag and Drop Questions, Multi-Choice Questions, Presentations and much more.

NEWSLETTER

This allows course creators to publish email newsletters.

QUIZ

Allows course creators to create assessments for participants to take. Quizzes can have a variety of questions such as multiple choice, true/false, interactive (H5P) content, and many other question types.

Choose from a wide variety of activities and resources that can be configured to display your content in distinctive ways. 

Workplace offers the unique H5P (HTML5 Package) Interactive content activity to offer your employees interactive videos, question sets, drag and drop questions and more.

CREATE A LEARNING PROGRAM

A Program is a set of Courses grouped together as a complete learning path. You’ll start by naming your Program, then you’ll choose the Courses you’d like to include in the Program and select how the Program should be completed; in a specific order, or in any order.

EVALUATE RETENTION & COMPREHENSION WITH

Assess your employees through a variety of quiz question types. Question types can be as simple as multiple choice and true/false or they can be as complex as an interactive drag and drop functionality.

With auto-grading, you can forgo the hours spent grading manually.

CREATE CUSTOM REPORTS

View who has completed the necessary classes, test answers and scores. Workplace provides the ability to create custom reports in a user-friendly report builder tool. The user adds the elements they want from the list on the left, the application automatically produces the data, then the user views or saves the report.

ISSUE CERTIFICATES

When employees have completed their necessary trainings, Admins can manually or automatically issue certifications which are essentially a marker of completion in the Workplace system. Certifications can be configured to expire and require renewing based on the Admin’s timeline and criteria.

DYNAMIC RULES

The Dynamic Rules function is an area of the app that allows admins to configure IF/THEN rules. When a specific condition in the app is met then the app will automatically react based on the parameters of the corresponding action.

Example: If you have certifications that need to be renewed you can set them to expire after a certain amount of time so that employees will be automatically notified that they need to re-certify.
